Responsibilities- Provide instruction in accordance with established course outlines and expectations
- Inform students about course requirements, evaluation procedures, and attendance policy
- Maintain required student attendance and scholastic records
- Prepare and grade class assignments and examinations
- Post and maintain regular office hours in accordance with prevailing policy
- Participate in the development and review of curriculum
- Participate in the development of teaching‑learning methods and materials
- Participate in departmental, area and campus professional activities/committees
- Participate in the college’s learning outcomes assessment program, including course, program, and institutional assessments
- Perform tasks needed for student records, e.g., submit grades on time to admissions and records
- Bachelor’s degree and at least two years of occupational experience related to the subject of the course taught
- OR Associate degree and at least six years of occupational experience related to the subject of the course taught
- OR Possession of a full‑time, clear California Designated Subjects Adult Education Teaching Credential authorizing instruction in the subject matter
- OR For a course in an occupation for which the district offers or has offered apprenticeship instruction, the minimum qualifications for non‑credit apprenticeship instructors in that occupation as specified in Title 5 Section 53413
- Professional experience is required when the applicant possesses a master’s degree
- Demonstrate promotion and incorporation of culturally affirming DEIA and anti‑racist principles to nurture an inclusive learning environment
- Letter of interest addressing your qualifications for the position (cover letter)

- List of three professional references (no reference letters permitted)
- Legible unofficial college transcripts (undergraduate and graduate); transcripts must include the degree major and date the institution granted the degree; official copies are not required unless applicant is hired
- Diversity statement (no personally identifying information, one page maximum)
- If applicable, foreign transcripts with U.S. evaluation and translation by an approved organization
- If applicable, Equivalency Review Form (for applicants who do not possess the stated minimum qualifications)
- Sick leave credit at the rate of one hour for each 20 hours of paid service for part‑time faculty
- Fingerprinting and tuberculosis testing at the candidate’s expense before employment
- Verification of identity and right to work in the United States as required by law
- All offers subject to approval by the Board of Trustees
- Candidate must be able to perform essential functions with or without reasonable accommodations
