Percent time: Depending on assignment

Position duration: 4-6 week assignment

UC Merced Center for Educational Partnerships anticipates reappointing and hiring part‑time Teacher
- Special Programs positions to teach in the following Programs in Summer 2026 and AY 2026‑2027:

• UC Scholars
• Talent Search
• Upward Bound
• Gateway Scholars
• Upward Bound Math & Science
• Early Academic Outreach Program (EAOP)
• Bridging the Gap in Mathematics
• Other programs as determined

This is a limited‑term appointment which falls under the purview of the agreement for the Lecturers Unit between University of California and the American Federation of Teachers. Terms and conditions of employment are subject to UC policy and appropriate collective bargaining agreement.

Applicants must have either a Bachelor's or equivalent international degree at the time of hire.

Master's Degree in English and/or Mathematics with a teaching credential preferred, in addition to teaching experience at the K‑12 level(s).
