Job Title
Advisors with MCOE Credential Programs serve candidates by facilitating instruction in the knowledge and skills required to be recommended to the California Commission on Teacher Credentialing for preliminary and clear credentials.

Education:
BA/BS Degree
Credentials and/or
Skills:
Valid/Clear California Multiple Subject credential or Valid/Clear Education Specialist Instruction (Mild/Mod and/or Severe/ESN) credential Administrative Services credential (optional) DOJ and FBI fingerprint response Knowledgeable in the use of personal computers. Valid CA driver's license and minimum amount of liability insurance required by law. DMV H-6 printout required.
Experience:
Minimum of 5 years teaching experience with positive evaluations and recommendations. Advisors should be experts in the content area of the candidate(s) being supervised and align with California's adopted content standards and frameworks, and the school reflects the diversity of California's student population. Development and implementation of curriculum for adult-level professional learning experiences (preferred).
