This is a full-time, on-site Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) Manager position based in Merced, CA. The EHS Manager will be responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining EHS programs to ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations. Key responsibilities include conducting safety audits, training employees on EHS practices, developing risk assessments, and implementing sustainability initiatives. The role also involves collaborating with cross‑functional teams to enhance workplace safety and environmental performance, ensuring a healthy and compliant work environment.
Qualifications- Strong knowledge of environmental regulations, occupational health standards, and safety management systems
- Experience in risk assessments, incident investigations, and compliance audits
- Proficiency in developing and delivering EHS training programs
- Excellent communication, problem‑solving, and leadership skills
- Strong understanding of sustainability initiatives and their implementation
- Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Occupational Health and Safety, or related field preferred
- Relevant certifications (e.g., OSHA, CSP, CHMM) are a plus
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously
