Position Overview

Position title:

Reader. Salary range: $21.22 - $22.14 per hour. Anticipated start dates vary by session:
Summer Session A: 5/26/2026 - 7/2/2026
Summer Session B: 6/22/2026 - 8/14/2026
Summer Session C: 7/6/2026 - 8/14/2026
Summer Session D: 5/26/2026 - 8/14/2026. Position duration: through Summer Session 2026.

Responsibilities

• Grading homework, quizzes, and exams for the following courses (up to 18 hours per week):
• ENGR 065:
  Circuit Theory
• ENGR 120:
  Fluid Mechanics
• ENGR 130:
  Thermodynamics
• ME 021:
  Engineering Computing
• ME 120:
  Component Design
• ME 137:
  Computer Aided Engineering
• Other courses as needed.

Qualifications

• Successfully completed the course(s) with a grade of B or higher and a cumulative GPA of at least 3.0.
• Graduate students preferred; qualified undergraduate students may be considered.
• Professional readers not enrolled as students may be hired on an hourly basis if needed.
