examples of duties

• collect samples from domestic water supplies, streams, and other bodies of water.
• conduct soil boring, domestic well, irrigation well, and other well inspections.

high school diploma or equivalent.

one (1) year experience equivalent to an environmental health technician i in merced county.

or

education: equivalent to graduation from college with an aa or as degree, with course work in the basic sciences.

possess a valid california driver's license at time of appointment and maintain.

identified safety sensitive positions in this classification will be subject to pre-employment, post-accident, reasonable suspicion, random and return-to-duty drug and alcohol testing pursuant to the provisions of the county of merced drug and alcohol testing policy
