This is a full-time, on-site role located in Merced, CA for a Doctor’s Technician. The role involves assisting optometrists with patient care, including performing pre-tests, obtaining medical histories, and documenting necessary information in records. The Technician will prepare patients for eye exams, maintain equipment and cleanliness standards, and ensure a smooth workflow in the clinic. The position also requires providing excellent customer care and communicating effectively with patients.

• Technical skills such as patient pre-screening, administering vision tests, and maintaining clinical equipment
• Administrative skills, including documenting records accurately and managing patient medical history
• Customer service and communication skills for ensuring an exceptional patient experience
• Attention to detail and ability to follow healthcare protocols
• Relevant work experience in a clinical, optical, or healthcare setting is a plus
• High school diploma or equivalent education; additional certifications in optometry or healthcare are advantageous
