Position Summary:The Travel Occupational Therapist provides comprehensive therapy services to patients of varying diagnoses to restore function, enhance mobility, and promote independence. This includes evaluation, treatment planning, documentation, and collaboration with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal outcomes.
Responsibilities:- Evaluate and treat patients per physician orders/referrals
- Develop and update individualized treatment and discharge plans
- Accurately document services in compliance with facility and regulatory standards
- Supervise COTAs per practice acts and facility policy
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams and families for continuity of care
- Maintain safety, infection control, and professional standards
- Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy program (MOT/OTD)
- Active California OT license (or ability to obtain prior to start)
- Minimum 1 year of OT experience (new grads with strong clinical rotations may be considered)
- Excellent communication, documentation, and patient care skills
