Job Description:
Seeking a qualified Radiation Therapist for an 8-hour weekday shift in a radiation oncology unit. The role involves providing therapeutic radiation treatment to patients while ensuring patient safety and care quality.
Responsibilities:
- Administer accurate radiation therapy to patients in accordance with physician prescriptions and protocols.
- Operate and maintain radiation therapy equipment, including linear accelerators and simulators.
- Monitor and document patient treatment accurately.
- Collaborate with medical professionals to adjust treatment plans as needed.
Requirements:
- Must possess and maintain a current Therapeutic Radiology license issued by the state of California.
- Must possess and maintain a current American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certificate.
- Must possess and maintain a current Basic Life Support (BLS) certificate.
- Demonstrated skill in the use of radiation therapy equipment, including knowledge of linear accelerators and simulators.
