An opportunity is available for a skilled Nuclear Medicine Technologist with expertise in NUC MED PET CT to support advanced imaging services. This 13-week contract assignment begins ASAP and offers a dynamic work schedule in locations across Merced and Tracy, CA.
LocationSituated in California’s Central Valley, Merced and nearby Tracy offer a blend of small-town charm with access to larger metropolitan amenities. Schedule/Hours- Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays in Merced
- Mondays in Tracy
- 4x10 hour shifts
- Perform nuclear medicine procedures, including PET CT imaging, following established protocols
- Prepare and administer radiopharmaceuticals safely and accurately
- Operate and maintain nuclear imaging equipment ensuring quality images for diagnostic evaluation
- Collaborate with physicians and healthcare teams to provide timely and accurate imaging results
- Comply with safety regulations and maintain patient confidentiality
- Certification as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist (NMT) or equivalent
- Proficient in NUC MED PET CT imaging techniques
- Strong knowledge of radiation safety and compliance standards
- Excellent communication skills and patient-focused approach
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
