Farmers Insurance Federal Credit Union is a dynamic, member-driven credit union on a bold mission to grow aggressively over the next five years while delivering exceptional member experiences. As Branch Manager, you will drive branch performance, lead a high-performing team, and make a tangible impact on the organization’s strategic growth objectives.
What You Will Do Drive Growth & Performance- Develop and maintain strong knowledge of business banking products and solutions, including treasury services.
- Own branch performance: deposits, consumer/business/real estate loans, new membership growth, and member satisfaction.
- Execute market growth strategies aligned with the credit union’s five-year expansion plan.
- Analyze branch performance metrics and implement proactive strategies to exceed goals.
- Lead business development initiatives and cultivate strategic community partnerships.
- Bring an established network of relationships and centers of influence (COIs) that you can leverage and expand at our credit union.
- Serve as the senior representative and brand ambassador in Merced.
- Build and strengthen relationships with business leaders, community organizations, and strategic partners.
- Represent the credit union with professionalism, credibility, and influence.
- Coach and develop Assistant Branch Managers and Branch Counselors.
- Build a high-performance, accountable, and member-focused culture.
- Conduct performance evaluations, coaching sessions, and leadership development planning.
- Identify and develop future leaders to support organizational expansion.
- Maintain full accountability for operational integrity, compliance, and risk management.
- Oversee branch security, cash controls, audit readiness, and internal controls.
- Partner cross-functionally to ensure the branch has the tools and resources to scale effectively.
- 5–7 years of experience in banking, credit union, or financial services; 3–5 years in leadership/supervisory roles.
- Proven track record of driving branch growth and leading high-performing teams.
- Strong financial, strategic, and analytical skills, with a KPI-driven approach to decision making.
- Strong knowledge of business banking products and solutions, including treasury services.
- Experience in business development and community engagement.
- Bachelor’s Degree preferred; high school diploma or equivalent required.
- Competitive base salary ($85k–$105k+ depending on experience).
