Join us for a 13-week travel contract on our Cardiac Tele floor in Merced, California. Ideal for experienced nurses who are stroke certified and comfortable caring for high-acuity patients, this role offers the opportunity to work night shifts that will keep you on your toes. You’ll be stepping into a fast-paced environment where your expertise in stroke care and telemedicine will be crucial, especially since this unit relies heavily on monitoring and interpreting cardiac strips on GE monitors.
This assignment is perfect for those who enjoy primary nursing and are ready to lead patient care without always having nurse aides available. Expect to be part of a unit that values efficiency, responsiveness, and clinical judgment, with a focus on post-CVA, CHF, respiratory failure, and post-procedure patients. The hospital provides a supportive setting with an in-house hospitalist, 24/7 RT and pharmacy, and a monitored tele unit that makes your night shifts engaging and focused.
Typically, around this time of year, the weather in Merced tends to be warm and sunny with clear skies. Mild evenings and comfortable daytime temperatures create pleasant conditions, ideal for outdoor activities and exploring the local scenery.
