Part-time Sales Associate: candidates with a passion for delivering outstanding customer service while driving sales. Key qualities include excellent people and sales skills, attention to detail in keeping merchandise organized, maintaining a well-stocked floor, and providing a seamless checkout experience at the register.

• Greet and assist customers promptly:
  Approach and acknowledge customers, provide assistance, and manage multiple customers efficiently.
• Understand and meet customer needs:
  Assess needs with product knowledge, answer questions, direct customers to merchandise, and offer recommendations. Engage in suggestive selling while staying informed on product availability.
• Promote store events and promotions:
  Inform customers about current events, promotions, and activities to enhance their shopping experience and drive sales.
• Resolve customer concerns:
  Address issues and use product knowledge to offer alternative solutions, aiming to turn returns into exchanges when possible.
• Communicate needs to management:
  Regularly inform management about restocking, service requirements, and customer feedback in a timely manner.
• Support team and company goals:
  Collaborate with the team to achieve store and company objectives and maintain a positive work environment.

• At least 16 years old
• Available to work a flexible schedule
• Comfortable with or willing to learn technology (cash registers, handheld and mobile devices)
• Good communicator with the ability to engage with customers
• Able to handle customer interactions courteously and professionally
• Use basic information-gathering skills to solve problems
• Ability to learn procedural knowledge through on-the-job training

• Frequently operate cash register
• Frequently move merchandise weighing up to 25 lbs and place/remove items up to 5-10 feet high
• Frequently ascend/descend ladders to retrieve and stock merchandise
• Frequently kneel, bend, twist, and stoop in stock room and on the sales floor
• Frequently communicate with customers and coworkers in person and on the telephone, exchanging accurate information
• Move across the sales floor assisting customers and stocking merchandise
• Work a flexible schedule including day, evening, weekends, and potentially overnight shifts and travel as required
• Identify and follow email and print instructions regarding merchandise layouts, associate schedules, and SOPs
• Remain in a stationary, upright position for up to 80% of the time
