Customer Service Associate

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with questions and recommendations
• Manage sales transactions while operating the assigned cash register
• Secure cash and protect company assets
• Maintain store stocking levels and recover merchandise
• Receive merchandise and assist with unloading trucks and stock replenishment according to productivity standards
• Ensure a positive, safe, and respectful environment through professional and friendly interactions with customers, associates, and leaders
• Maintain cleanliness throughout the store, including cleaning and restocking bathrooms, sweeping and mopping floors, taking out trash, and keeping all areas neat and presentable

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Previous customer service experience in retail, hotel, restaurant, grocery, or drug store environment highly preferred
• Ability to follow instructions and interpret operational documents required
• Must be able to lift between 30 and 50 lbs. from floor to above shoulder height and meet demands of frequent walking, standing, stooping, kneeling, climbing, pushing, pulling, and repetitive lifting
• Excellent customer service and relationship management skills required
• Strong organizational and communication skills required
• Strong problem‑solving and decision‑making skills required
