Assistant Store Manager; Store

Position: Full Time Assistant Store Manager (Store 5280)
Game Stop - 1340 West Olive Avenue, Suite 101 - Responsibilities:
Provide best-in-class guest service: greet guests, respond to questions, assist with gaming needs, inform guests of promotions, suggest additional items;
Promote and explain guest benefits and loyalty programs;
Assist Store Manager with onboarding, training, and policy compliance for store associates;
Monitor and provide feedback on associate performance and document in HR system;
Schedule and supervise store associates, manage payroll-related tasks, and ensure breaks/meals are properly accounted for;
Maintain store cleanliness, organization, and merchandising per guidelines; ensure fixtures and equipment are functional;
Ensure Omni-Channel orders are fulfilled and shipped daily;
Support achievement of sales, profit, and shrink goals; conduct inventory counts and manage stock movements;
Prepare closeout paperwork and bank deposits; balance daily transactions in POS system;
Ensure security and loss-prevention practices and safety standards are followed
