Overview

The Senior Sales Representative is responsible for developing strong customer relationships and selling aggregate and asphalt products and services. As a customer-facing position, the role provides excellent customer service and helps customers select the best products for their needs. The sales representative collaborates with the sales manager to evaluate existing and potential accounts, pricing strategies, and sales forecasts. The role also frequently communicates with operations, quality control, and dispatch personnel regarding customer needs.

  • Typically responsible for a large number of plants, sites, or product lines’ sales
  • Conducts regular status and strategy meetings with larger-tier customers’ management to understand their needs and align them with product/service strategies
  • Serves as a senior point of contact for customer account management matters
  • Leads product demonstrations with potential customers
  • Recommends marketing strategies to target a specific region or demographic
  • Identifies and executes complex bidding opportunities and closes opportunities to maximize profits
  • Develops trusted advisor relationships with key accounts, customer stakeholders and executive sponsors

Compensation and Benefits

The hiring range for this position is $95,000 - $133,000 exclusive of benefits or bonuses (discretionary and non-discretionary). The offered base compensation will be determined based on factors such as geographic location, business need, market conditions, proficiencies, skills, education, and experience. The range reflects the base pay for the position at time of hire and does not represent total compensation. This role is eligible for our annual bonus program.

Bonuses are based on organizational and individual performance.
