Position: Police Officer (On-site)

Key Responsibilities

Patrol campus sites using various methods including car, bike, and foot patrols.

Respond to calls related to emergencies, crime, and safety concerns.

Enforce laws, conduct investigations, and issue citations.

Engage in community outreach and crime prevention education.

Prepare reports and testify in court as necessary.

Participate in ongoing training and maintain proficiency with department tools and weapons.

Minimum Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent;
Bachelor's degree preferred.
California POST Academy Certificate.
US citizenship or permanent resident status with citizenship achieved within three years.
No felony convictions.
21 years of age or older.

Additional Requirements

Background check and fingerprinting.
Valid California driver’s license with a clean record.
Ability to carry a firearm and perform law enforcement duties effectively.
Strong communication skills and ability to work with diverse community members.
