Aerial Lineman

Merced, CA.

Work will be primarily performed at a designated field worksite location based out of a central Race Communications worksite. Frequent travel to and work from other Race offices or other off-site locations will be required.

The Aerial Lineman is a skilled professional who specializes in the installation, maintenance, and repair of overhead electrical and telecommunication lines. With a strong commitment to safety, they work collaboratively with a team, including aerial foremen and fellow team members, to develop work plans, schedules, and safety measures. Aerial Linemen utilize specialized equipment, such as bucket trucks and aerial lifts, to perform tasks at elevated heights.

Their physically demanding work may involve climbing poles and handling heavy equipment. Aerial Linemen are responsible for maintaining accurate records of work, materials, and costs, and they ensure that all work adheres to safety standards and regulatory requirements, including those set by OSHA. They play a critical role in ensuring the reliable functioning of overhead electrical and telecommunications infrastructure.
