Agrecom Inc is seeking a Field Service Technician to support growers across the Arapahoe, NE area. In this role, you will service, calibrate, and repair agricultural application equipment, support fertilizer and chemical delivery systems, and assist with precision agriculture technologies. You'll work closely with agronomists and producers to ensure safe, accurate application and reliable field operations. Responsibilities include equipment inspections, basic troubleshooting, seasonal setup and teardown, and maintaining detailed service records while following strict safety and environmental standards.
Responsibilities
- Service, calibrate, and repair agricultural field and application equipment
- Inspect and maintain fertilizer, chemical, and seed handling systems
- Support setup, operation, and troubleshooting of precision agriculture technologies
- Perform seasonal equipment setup, teardown, and preventative maintenance
- Respond to service calls at grower locations in a safe, timely manner
- Maintain accurate service logs, parts usage, and inspection records
- Collaborate with agronomists and operations staff to meet grower needs
- Follow all safety, DOT, and environmental compliance standards
- Assist with equipment upgrades and basic installations
- Communicate equipment status and recommendations to customers and supervisors
