Your flexible schedule allows you to meet parents when they most need you, which may mean starting your day before their working hours and ending early, or starting your day later and meeting them during dinnertime.

At times when you have resistant parents, you’ll use your relationship, shared life experience, and interpersonal skills to gain their engagement and commitment.
