Transdev in Merced, CA hiring a Utility Worker. The Utility Worker is required to perform basic vehicle servicing duties. We are looking for customer service-oriented professionals who are dedicated to safety.

• Maintain the cleanliness of fleet vehicles—interior and exterior.
• Drive, maneuver, and park vehicles.
• Fuel buses, replenish fluids, and log and record all fluids.
• Download drive cameras & probes fare boxes.
• Perform maintenance to shop areas, fueling stations, and related facilities.
• Report maintenance issues to supervisor.
• Other duties / special projects as required.

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver's license for a minimum of 3 years.
• Must be able to work shifts or flexible work schedules as needed.
• Subject to a DOT drug testing and physical if applicable. DOT Regulation 49 CFR Part 40 does not authorize the use of Schedule I drugs, including cannabis, for any reason.

• Work outside in varying temperature, weather, and humidity conditions—all 100% of the job is performed outside, work alone and in remote locations.
• Sit for extended periods (up to 6–8 hours per day); frequently walk for long distances and on possible sloped ground or slippery and uneven surfaces.
• Push and pull objects up to 50 pounds, occasionally throughout the workday; lift material weighing up to 50 lbs. with or without assistance; occasionally bend, kneel, or crouch to files or equipment stored at ground level.
• Withstand heavy traffic areas while performing the duties of the job; tolerate exposure to considerable amounts of dust, vehicle fumes, and noise.

$17.94 - $22.70 (Union Collective Bargaining Agreement Payscale).
