Pay: $70,000 - $85,000
Job Description:
Addison Group is seeking an Administrative Assistant to support a growing CPA firm in Mercer Island, WA. This direct-hire opportunity is ideal for an experienced administrative professional with bookkeeping experience who enjoys working in a small, collaborative office environment.
The successful candidate will provide bookkeeping, tax support, and administrative assistance to the CPA and office team. This role requires strong attention to detail, organization, and the ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining confidentiality with sensitive client information.
Responsibilities:
- Perform bookkeeping tasks using Quick Books or similar accounting software.
- Assist with tax preparation support, including organizing client documentation and maintaining accurate records.
- Provide administrative support to the CPA and office operations.
- Manage client files, document organization, and recordkeeping.
- Handle general office administration, including correspondence and client communication.
- Maintain accurate financial and administrative information with a high level of confidentiality.
- Support additional office needs and projects as required.
Qualifications:
- 3+ years of administrative and bookkeeping experience.
- Prior experience in a CPA firm, accounting, financial services, or professional services environment preferred.
- High school diploma required;
Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred. - Proficiency with Microsoft Office;
Quick Books or similar accounting software experience preferred. - Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Comfortable working onsite in a small office environment.
- Ability to adapt, prioritize, and take ownership in a role with a variety of responsibilities.
