Med Tech (CNA) Position
The Med Tech (CNA) provides medication assistance along with basic care and support services under the direction of licensed nursing staff to meet and exceed the needs and comfort of residents within a memory care or assisted living care setting.
What You'll Do- Provide medication assistance
- Care for residents by monitoring health status, feeding, bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, assisting with mobility, and serving meals and snacks.
- Establish and maintain interpersonal relationships with residents, families, and coworkers.
- Document and record resident observations and health-related information in electronic systems.
- Communicate resident observations and health-related information to others member of the care team including coworkers, supervisors, third-party providers, and families.
- Learn and apply Company, Federal, State, and local rules, regulations, and policies.
- A minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent accompanied by experience as a CNA.
- Current Washington State Nursing Assistant certification.
- Nurse Delegation Core Certificate
- Nurse Delegation Diabetes Certificate
- Ability to obtain a Washington State Food Worker Card within 14 days of hire.
- Ability to obtain a CPR and First Aid certification within 30 days of hire.
- Ability to obtain a Mental Health Specialty Certificate within 120 days of hire.
- Ability to obtain a Dementia Specialty Certificate within 120 days of hire.
- Effective and comprehendible English verbal and written communication skills to accomplish charting, record keeping, and to comprehend written orders and procedures.
- Displays a personable and comforting personality to care for the residents.
- Use logic and reasoning to identify alternative solutions, conclusions, or approaches to problems.
- Assist with scheduling and other care activities as needed.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Salary Range: $24.44 to $28.89 per hour

Compensation Range: $21.64 - $32.45 per hour
Responsibilities- Provide whole-person quality care to patients in need
- Assist with the daily medication administration as outlined in their individual care plan
- Follow documentation protocols and report any changes in resident status
- Assist in managing medication inventory and proper storage conditions, and coordinate medication re-orders and deliveries with pharmacies as necessary
- Provide compassionate care and support with activities of daily living to the residents in a team setting as needed
- Prioritize independence and provide emotional support to the residents by providing continuous engagement and companionship
- Encourage and assist with participation in life enrichment activity programs
- Promote open communication between healthcare professionals, families, residents, and staff
- Washington Nursing Assistant Certification License upon hire
- National Provider BLS
- American Heart Association within 30 days of hire - 1 year of recent experience as a Health Unit Coordinator or experience in a similar position
