Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site Hotel General Manager role based in Mercer, PA. The Hotel General Manager oversees all daily hotel operations, including front office, housekeeping, food and beverage, and maintenance, to ensure a consistently high standard of guest satisfaction and brand compliance. Responsibilities include leading and developing hotel teams, managing budgets and financial performance, forecasting revenue, and implementing cost-control measures.

The role also involves maintaining strong relationships with guests, staff, ownership, and local partners, as well as ensuring compliance with safety, health, and regulatory requirements. The Hotel General Manager will drive operational efficiency, support sales and marketing efforts, and lead initiatives that enhance the hotel’s reputation and profitability.

Qualifications
  • Strong general management and business management skills, including the ability to oversee multi-department hotel operations and align them with company and ownership objectives.
  • Proven customer service expertise, with a track record of elevating guest satisfaction and handling guest feedback and escalations professionally.
  • Demonstrated budgeting and financial management skills, including forecasting, cost control, P&L review, and revenue optimization.
  • Relevant hotel leadership experience, preferably as a General Manager or senior hotel leader in a select-service, full-service, or upscale property.
  • Strong people leadership skills, including team development, coaching, performance management, and fostering an inclusive, respectful workplace.
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and decision‑making abilities, with competency in hotel management systems and basic office software.
  • Associate or bachelor’s degree in hospitality management, Business, or a related field preferred, or equivalent combination of education and hotel operations experience.
