Sourcing Specialist

Location:

Meriden, Connecticut
Work Arrangement:
Hybrid

• Perform supply market analyses and use sourcing tools to identify suppliers with capabilities that meet business needs
• Support the RFx process, contract negotiations, and ensure contract deliverables are realized (e.g., SLAs, savings)
• Monitor and ensure compliance with agreements, internal policies, and procedures
• Invoice and AP reconciliation
• Assist in quality issue resolution, SCAR follow-up
• Manage day‑to‑day supplier interactions, negotiations, and escalation requirements
• Create, review, and approve purchase orders within the workflow for category spend under management and within authorized approval limits
• Work within requirements, draft, and handle workflow for scopes of work covering commercial terms
• Track contract expiry dates and alert the sourcing manager and stakeholders for existing contracts
• Support the Supplier Relationship Management initiatives, including coordinating governance meetings, creating scorecards, reviewing performance metrics, reporting action items, and tracking resolutions

• Bachelor's degree in Procurement, Supply Chain, or a related field preferred
• 3–5 years of experience in Procurement or Compliance
• Knowledge of ERP systems
• Experience in market research to analyze markets, identify trends, and new opportunities for cost reduction
• Pharma experience preferred
