Sourcing Specialist
Location:
Meriden, Connecticut
Work Arrangement:
Hybrid
- Perform supply market analyses and use sourcing tools to identify suppliers with capabilities that meet business needs
- Support the RFx process, contract negotiations, and ensure contract deliverables are realized (e.g., SLAs, savings)
- Monitor and ensure compliance with agreements, internal policies, and procedures
- Invoice and AP reconciliation
- Assist in quality issue resolution, SCAR follow-up
- Manage day‑to‑day supplier interactions, negotiations, and escalation requirements
- Create, review, and approve purchase orders within the workflow for category spend under management and within authorized approval limits
- Work within requirements, draft, and handle workflow for scopes of work covering commercial terms
- Track contract expiry dates and alert the sourcing manager and stakeholders for existing contracts
- Support the Supplier Relationship Management initiatives, including coordinating governance meetings, creating scorecards, reviewing performance metrics, reporting action items, and tracking resolutions

- Bachelor's degree in Procurement, Supply Chain, or a related field preferred
- 3–5 years of experience in Procurement or Compliance
- Knowledge of ERP systems
- Experience in market research to analyze markets, identify trends, and new opportunities for cost reduction
- Pharma experience preferred
