Job Overview

Seeking BE/BC Pulmonary Critical Care Physician to join a team near Hartford, CT. The focus of the group is to mentor new leaders in Pulmonary Critical Care within our rapidly evolving health care network across Connecticut. We are creating a team‑oriented and thriving patient care experience that combines the desired attributes of private practice with the capacity to perform our educational and academic objectives in a growing health care network.

This position is built upon a unique hybrid model, blending the best elements of both worlds for an individual seeking growth through engaged mentorship into a leader in Pulmonary Critical Care.

• EBUS/Bronchoscopy experience preferred.
• ICU work divided between two local hospitals and additional network hospitals, offering opportunities to grow and refine clinical skills.
• Lead a team of residents, medical students, advanced practitioners, and other allied health trainees.
• Early and ongoing leadership opportunities, including access to the Physician Leadership Institute intensive training program.
• Work on closed units with no overnight on‑call, supported by experienced advanced practitioners and residents 24 h/day.
• Collaborate with multiple medical and surgical specialty teams.
• Inpatient pulmonary consults.
• General outpatient pulmonary medicine.
• Pulmonary rehabilitation.
• Cystic fibrosis.
• Pulmonary hypertension.
• Interstitial lung disease.
• Research and teaching.
