Description
The Meriden Public Schools seeks a full-time special education teacher for the school year at Nathan Hale School.
The special education teacher collaborates with general education teachers to provide a continuum of supports and services to meet individual student needs. Responsibilities may include: conducting individual assessments, writing IEPs, participating in PPTs, timely reporting of student progress, assisting in the development of FBA/BIP, training and supervision of para educators, maintaining positive communication with parents, developing student schedules, or other related duties assigned by the supervisor or principal.
QualificationsA valid Connecticut teacher certification with endorsement #065, #165, or #265 is required.
