Special Education Teacher, Elementary School
Description:
The Meriden Public Schools seeks a full time special education teacher for the school year for John Barry Elementary School in the STARS program.
Responsibilities:Conducting individual assessments, writing IEPs, participating in PPTs, timely reporting of student progress, assisting in development of FBAs & BIPs, training and supervision of paraprofessionals, maintaining positive communication with parents, developing student schedules, and other related duties assigned by the supervisor or principal.
Qualifications:A valid Connecticut teacher certification with endorsement #065, #165 or #265 is required.
Salary:Per the MFT Contract
