ON SITE, NON REMOTE, MUST LIVE IN CONNECTICUT
Job Description- Design and implementation of data collection software for turbine engine test equipment using LabVIEW software and National Instruments hardware
- Acts as technical reference for the customer and the main suppliers in relation to area of expertise
- Review all technical information (specifications, programs, manuals, etc.) and make sure all specifications are met for each job
- Perform installation and troubleshooting remotely and at customer’s facilities
- Provide internal IT and server support as needed
- Degree Engineering or Computer Science with strong programming background
- Must be able to travel both domestically and internationally
- Experience with LabVIEW and National Instruments, Visual Basic, and C++
- Experience integrating instrumentation sensors and Analog/Digital I/O (temperature, pressure, speed, vibration, etc.)
- Experience and understanding of calibration and metrology
- Knowledge of gas turbine/aircraft engine operation
- Experience in PLC integration and testing
- Experience in system engineering and/or test environments
