Our client, a leader in the manufacturing and biopharmaceutical industry, is seeking a dedicated and innovative Manufacturing Equipment Engineer
- Project Manager to join their dynamic team. Pay Range: $60-70/hr on W2
Contract:
12 months to start, potential to extend
What's the Job?
- Lead the specification, design, build, and installation of manufacturing equipment to support production needs.
- Manage multiple capital projects, ensuring timely delivery, quality standards, and budget adherence.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve equipment performance, productivity, and cost efficiency.
- Oversee vendor relationships, ensuring design, build, and installation efforts meet project specifications and standards.
- Implement engineering tools such as DOE, FMEA, SPC, and statistical analysis to optimize processes and mitigate risks.
What's Needed?
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related technical field with 5 years of applicable experience, or Master's degree with 3 years of experience.
- Proven experience managing capital projects for manufacturing equipment, including both manual and automated systems.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to coordinate multiple projects and vendors effectively.
- Proficiency in MS Office and Solid Works/PDM or equivalent engineering software.
- Knowledge of GMP, FDA, ISO 13485 standards, and experience in medical device or biopharmaceutical manufacturing preferred.
