We are seeking a motivated and experienced individual to join our team in a billing oversight role. The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge of third‑party billing, experience with billing software (preferably Point Click Care), and a strong background in developing and managing policy and procedural compliance. We’re looking for someone who thrives in a team environment yet is driven to achieve independent success.

Strong management skills, a proven track record in reducing Days Sales Outstanding (DSO) and maintaining low receivable balances are key to this role. Requirements
  • Only serious candidates with experience in nursing home accounts receivable management, billing system oversight, resident trust management, and Medicaid eligibility should apply.
  • Extensive experience managing billing systems, including setting up rooms, adding new payer types, managing system security, and troubleshooting issues; experience with Point Click Care is preferred.
  • Proven ability to develop and implement billing office policies, oversee business office compliance for billing, debt collection, Medicare compliance, bad debt documentation, resident trust management, and handling documentation requests.
  • Deep knowledge and experience in identifying and implementing best practices for billing operations.
  • Proven success in collections, maintaining low Days Sales Outstanding (DSO), and minimizing bad debt.
  • Strong background in managing Medicaid pending and eligibility issues.
  • Experience working in Connecticut nursing facilities is a plus.
  • Must enjoy working collaboratively within an organization, with strong management skills and the ability to train and motivate others.
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills are essential.
  • Proficient in MS Office, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
