Duties:

The Phlebotomist II is responsible for collecting venous and capillary blood specimens from patients in a safe and accurate manner according to established lab policies and practices, additional is responsible for maintaining inventory, dispatch scheduling and Epic registration.

Demonstrates H3W behaviors with a focus on excellent patient exceptional patience and quality service and outcomes

* High School graduate or equivalent or successful completion of Phlebotomy program

* 1 year phlebotomy experience

* Knowledge of venipuncture techniques

* Excellent customer service skills with a professional attitude

* Good keyboarding skills with ability to learn various laboratory application and HHC computer systems

* Continuous improvement mindset

* Ability to handle different patient population including difficult patients.

* Strong trouble shooting and problem solving skills

* Ability to operate required lab equipment including pneumatic tube
