Digital Platform Consultant (Pre‑Sales – Retirement Services)

A highly visible role within Voya’s Retirement technology organization that supports the business development and relationship management teams across all market segments in demonstrating Voya’s customer‑facing, award‑winning digital technology properties. The role partners closely with sales teams to deliver client‑facing digital platform demonstrations and plays a critical part in finalist presentations and client meetings.

Contributions You’ll Make
  • Manage, develop, and lead detailed demonstrations of Voya’s digital technology solutions across all retirement market segments for plan sponsor clients/prospects and intermediary partners.
  • Serve as the highest‑level digital technology expert and trusted resource at final presentations, client review meetings, consultant due diligence meetings, and other highly visible forums such as client and industry conferences.
  • Educate and inform business partners and clients on how to gain maximum value from Voya’s digital solutions.
  • Listen and respond confidently to objections and posed questions.
  • Provide day‑to‑day digital technology expertise during the sales process, including interfacing directly with Voya’s sales and relationship management teams, clients, and intermediary partners.
  • Influence technology roadmap by gathering product insights and communicating customer feedback to digital product management teams.
  • Ensure sales and relationship management teams are accurately and suitably supported, resulting in successfully closed deals.
  • Collaborate with the technology development team to support and maintain technology demo websites and mobile solutions.
  • Support other digital technology assignments as needed to support client engagements, solutioning, and best practice use of customer technology.
Qualifications
  • Minimum:
    Bachelor’s Degree and 5–7years of experience in the retirement plan industry with related product knowledge.
  • Previous experience in a pre‑sales, technical consulting, or solutions engineering role with financial services organizations.
  • Advanced written and verbal communication skills, including hosting presentations and digital technology demonstrations in person and with virtual audiences.
  • Highly adept at managing technical meeting set‑up for in‑person engagements.
  • Strategic thinking and technical proficiency skills, with basic technology platform understanding.
  • Self‑motivated, strong interpersonal skills and problem‑solving mindset.
  • Passionate ability to work well in a sales support environment, partnering with high‑performing sales teams.
  • FINRA Series6 license required, or willingness to obtain within 12months of hire.
  • Ability to travel to on‑site meetings (≈25% average; up to 50% during peak times) including overnight travel.
Compensation

Base salary range: $100,000–$145,000. In addition to base salary, Voya offers incentive opportunities (annual cash incentives, sales incentives, and/or long‑term incentives) based on role performance.
