Manufacturing Electrician (Finance)

POSITION SUMMARY

RFS Technologies seeks a Manufacturing Electrician to support first & second-shift support for the facility. This role is responsible for installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing electrical systems and equipment within a manufacturing environment. This role supports safe, reliable plant operations by minimizing downtime and ensuring compliance with all electrical codes and safety standards.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
  • Install, maintain, and repair industrial electrical systems, including motors, controls, PLCs, VFDs, sensors, and production machinery
  • Troubleshoot electrical issues to minimize equipment downtime and production interruptions
  • Perform preventive and predictive maintenance on electrical systems and components
  • Read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals
  • Support new equipment installations, upgrades, and facility electrical projects
  • Support equipment reliability and uptime initiatives
  • Ensure compliance with OSHA, and company safety policies
  • Collaborate with maintenance, engineering, and production teams to resolve issues
  • Document maintenance activities, repairs, and parts usage
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE, AND ABILITIES
  • 3+ years of industrial or manufacturing electrical experience
  • Strong knowledge of 3-phase power, control circuits, and industrial automation
  • Ability to use electrical testing equipment (multimeters, megohmmeters, etc.)
  • Ability to work independently and respond to production priorities
  • Exposure to PLC-controlled manufacturing equipment and automation systems
EDUCATION

Electrical License required per State of CT requirements. Technical or trade school preferred. OSHA 10/30 safety training required.
