position summary

rfs technologies seeks a manufacturing electrician to support first shift support for the facility. This role is responsible for installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing electrical systems and equipment within a manufacturing environment. This role supports safe, reliable plant operations by minimizing downtime and ensuring compliance with all electrical codes and safety standards.

essential job functions

• install, maintain, and repair industrial electrical systems, including motors, controls, plcs, vfds, sensors, and production machinery
• troubleshoot electrical issues to minimize equipment downtime and production interruptions
• perform preventative and predictive maintenance on electrical systems and components
• read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals
• support new equipment installations, upgrades, and facility electrical projects
• support equipment reliability and uptime initiatives
• ensure compliance with osha, and company safety policies
• collaborate with maintenance, engineering, and production teams to resolve issues
• document maintenance activities, repairs, and parts usage
• maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment

skills, knowledge, and abilities

• 3+ years of industrial or manufacturing electrical experience

• strong knowledge of 3-phase power, control circuits, and industrial automation
• ability to use electrical testing equipment (multimeters, megohmmeters, etc.)
• ability to work independently and respond to production priorities
• exposure to plc-controlled manufacturing equipment and automation systems

education

• electrical license required per state of ct requirements
• technical or trade school preferred
• osha 10/30 safety training required
