Manufacturing Electrician (Finance)
POSITION SUMMARYRFS Technologies seeks a Manufacturing Electrician to support first & second-shift support for the facility. This role is responsible for installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing electrical systems and equipment within a manufacturing environment. This role supports safe, reliable plant operations by minimizing downtime and ensuring compliance with all electrical codes and safety standards.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS- Install, maintain, and repair industrial electrical systems, including motors, controls, PLCs, VFDs, sensors, and production machinery
- Troubleshoot electrical issues to minimize equipment downtime and production interruptions
- Perform preventive and predictive maintenance on electrical systems and components
- Read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals
- Support new equipment installations, upgrades, and facility electrical projects
- Support equipment reliability and uptime initiatives
- Ensure compliance with OSHA, and company safety policies
- Collaborate with maintenance, engineering, and production teams to resolve issues
- Document maintenance activities, repairs, and parts usage
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
- 3+ years of industrial or manufacturing electrical experience
- Strong knowledge of 3-phase power, control circuits, and industrial automation
- Ability to use electrical testing equipment (multimeters, megohmmeters, etc.)
- Ability to work independently and respond to production priorities
- Exposure to PLC-controlled manufacturing equipment and automation systems
Electrical License required per State of CT requirements. Technical or trade school preferred. OSHA 10/30 safety training required.
