Sign-On Bonus: $1250.
Responsibilities- Supervise and coordinate nursing care for residents in accordance with physician orders, care plans, and facility policies.
- Assess residents’ conditions and respond promptly to changes in status.
- Ensure accurate and timely documentation in medical records.
- Administer medications and treatments as required.
- Participate in admissions, discharges, and transfers.

- Supervise LPNs, CNAs, and other nursing staff during assigned shifts.
- Provide guidance, support, and clinical direction to staff.
- Ensure appropriate staffing levels and assignment coverage.
- Monitor staff performance and address performance issues in accordance with facility policy and collective bargaining agreements, if applicable.
- Report incidents, accidents, and concerns to the DON/ADON.
- Ensure compliance with CMS, state Department of Public Health, and facility regulations.
- Participate in survey preparedness and respond appropriately during inspections.
- Ensure infection control practices are followed at all times.
- Maintain resident rights, dignity, and confidentiality.
- Identify and report quality of care issues.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives.
- Ensure a safe environment for residents, staff, and visitors.
- Follow emergency procedures and respond to incidents as needed.
- Communicate effectively with residents, families, physicians, and interdisciplinary team members.
- Serve as the nursing leadership contact during assigned shifts.
- Escalate concerns appropriately to nursing leadership.
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of employment.
- CPR certification required.
- Minimum of one (1) year of nursing experience required.
- Long-term care or skilled nursing experience preferred.
- Supervisory experience preferred.
- Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills.
- Ability to supervise and motivate staff.
- Knowledge of long-term care regulations and standards.
- Excellent communication and documentation skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift as required in a nursing environment.
- Ability to lift up to ___ pounds with or without reasonable accommodation.
- Skilled nursing / long-term care facility.
