About This Role
The Registered Nurse (RN) in the Family Birthing Center provides nursing care under the direction of the Clinical Manager, utilizing the nursing process to develop comprehensive care plans that address the needs of patients and their families.
Highlights- Location: Meriden, CT
- Facility: Mid State Medical Center
- Department/Unit: Family Birthing Center
- Schedule: Part Time, Day shift
- Provide nursing care in accordance with the State Nurse Practice Act.
- Develop a plan of care that meets the physical, emotional, spiritual, cultural, and educational needs of patients and families.
- Incorporate the needs and behaviors of patients' age groups in planning and providing care.
- Manage multiple priorities in a high-volume environment.
- Work as part of the Family Birthing float pool.
- Education: BSN preferred
- Experience: Previous RN experience required
- Licenses &
Certifications:
Current RN license in Connecticut
