Location: 435 Lewis Avenue-Midstate Med (10123)
Shift: Inpatient acute care med/tele/stroke and 5 bed observation LOC unit; 36 hrs per week, 6:45 a.m. – 7:15 p.m.; every 3rd weekend rotation; rotating holidays.
Mid State Medical Center is actively hiring Registered Nurses (RN) for our Observation Unit
. The RN will practice at the top of their license, use research, innovation, and evidence‑based practices, and receive clinical instruction and additional learning opportunities as part of the Observation Unit Nurse Residency. Student nurses and recent graduate nurses are welcome.

- Current Connecticut RN license required within 90 days of hire.
- Graduate of an accredited nursing school.
- BLS certification by the American Heart Association.
- One‑year recent acute‑care RN experience preferred; graduate nurses encouraged to apply.
