About This Role
The Registered Nurse (RN) in Orthopedics at Hartford Health Care is responsible for providing high-quality patient care in the orthopedic units. This role is ideal for nurses who are passionate about supporting patients and practicing at the top of their license.
Highlights- Location: Meriden, CT
- Facility: Mid State Medical Center
- Schedule: Part Time, Day shift
- Provide patient care in the orthopedic units.
- Utilize research, innovation, and evidence-based practices.
- Participate in clinical instruction and learning opportunities.
- Complete the Orthopedic Nurse Residency program.
- Support colleagues through a strong focus on employee wellness.
- Graduate of an accredited nursing school
- 1 year of recent Acute Care RN experience preferred
- Current Connecticut RN License required within 90 days of hire
- BLS certification by the American Heart Association required
- Tuition Reimbursement after 6 months of employment
- Up to 40% reimbursement with Quinnipiac University for colleagues and dependents
