** What you'll be doing
**** What We Need
** Corpay is currently looking to hire a Business Development Manager within our Fleet & Vehicle payments division. This position falls under our epyx line of business and is located in the UK with hybrid working in our Meriden office. In this role, you will be responsible for driving new customer acquisition for epyx, promoting and selling the 1link suite of fleet and SMR technology solutions.

This role is focused on identifying, qualifying, and converting new business opportunities, from first engagement through to contract signature and successful onboarding. You’ll be a confident, high-energy sales professional with strong fleet and automotive sector experience, capable of building pipeline, understanding customer challenges, and closing profitable deals. You will report directly to the Business Development Director and regularly collaborate with sales, marketing and customer support.
** How We Work
** As a Business Development Manager, you will be expected to work in a hybrid environment, with travel to customers. Corpay will set you up for success by providing:
* Assigned workspace in Meriden.

* Formal, hands-on training.
** Role Responsibilities
** The responsibilities of the role will include:
* Creating and managing a portfolio of new business opportunities from first customer contact through to live account start.
* Developing a strong understanding of prospective customer needs and align these with the epyx product suite to deliver value-led proposals.
* Owning the full sales cycle including discovery, solution presentation, commercial negotiation, and contract close.
* Building and maintaining strong relationships with senior decision makers and operational stakeholders within prospective customers.
* Generating new leads primarily through your own network, industry engagement and proactive outreach.
* Carrying out cold calling and targeted prospecting activity where required to build a sustainable opportunity pipeline.
* Identifying and pursue opportunities across fleet operators, mobility providers, and other relevant end-user fleet organizations.
* Negotiating commercial terms within agreed company guidelines to ensure sustainable and profitable growth.
