Litchfield Wellness Magazine | Commission-Based Opportunity

Litchfield Wellness is seeking energetic, well-connected Independent Advertising & Business Development Representatives to help grow our advertising partnerships throughout Litchfield County and the surrounding region.

Our magazine is a premium wellness publication connecting readers with the exceptional businesses, practitioners, experiences, and ideas shaping the local wellness community. With a growing print and digital audience, we are looking for entrepreneurial sales professionals who can help us build strong relationships with local businesses and brands.

This is an independent, commission-only position with the opportunity to earn up to 20% commission on advertising sales.

You will identify prospective advertisers, introduce them to Litchfield Wellness, develop relationships, and sell advertising and partnership opportunities across our growing media platform.

This is an ideal opportunity for someone who already has strong relationships within the local business community and enjoys connecting people, building partnerships, and creating opportunities.

• $0–$2,499 in monthly collected sales: 7%
• $2,500–$4,999: 10%
• $5,000–$7,499: 13%
• $7,500–$9,999: 16%
• $10,000+: 20%

There is no cap on earnings

Commissions are paid on advertising revenue collected from clients.

We are looking for someone who is:

• Well-connected within Litchfield County and/or the surrounding area
• Comfortable approaching business owners and decision-makers
• Naturally outgoing, personable, and persuasive
• Self-motivated and able to work independently
• Experienced in sales, advertising, marketing, media, business development, or a related field
• Passionate about wellness, healthy living, and supporting local businesses
• Able to identify opportunities and turn relationships into partnerships

Existing relationships with local businesses are a major plus.

Advertising opportunities include:

• Digital advertising
• Directory listings
• Sponsored content and features
• Events (Festival and Summit) partnerships
• Multi-platform advertising packages

This is more than selling an ad.
You will be helping local businesses become part of the Litchfield Wellness community.

• Generate appointments by means of proactive outbound prospecting
• Work directly with sales and marketing to discover opportunities from leads
• Demonstrate and teach strong selling and influencing skills

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience preferred
• 5+ years' of experience in related role preferred
• Strong communication and time management skills
