Responsibilities for the Electrician role include but are not limited to:

+ Install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair electrical systems, equipment, and controls throughout the manufacturing facility.

+ Support production equipment, utility systems, HVAC equipment, cleanroom infrastructure, and facility support systems.

+ Perform preventive and predictive maintenance activities on electrical equipment to maximize uptime and reliability.

+ Diagnose and resolve electrical issues involving motors, variable frequency drives (VFDs), motor control centers (MCCs), transformers, panels, lighting systems, and power distribution equipment.

+ Read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, equipment manuals, and technical documentation.

+ Support equipment installations, facility upgrades, and capital improvement projects.

+ Work with automation, instrumentation, and controls personnel to troubleshoot integrated systems.

+ Conduct inspections and testing of electrical systems to ensure compliance with applicable codes, company standards, and regulatory requirements.

+ Respond to equipment breakdowns and facility emergencies in a timely manner.

+ Maintain accurate maintenance records within the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS).

+ Participate in root cause investigations and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) as required.

+ Support energy efficiency and continuous improvement initiatives.

+ Follow all Environmental Health & Safety (EHS), Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP), and quality system requirements.

Candidates for this Electrician role must meet the following requirements to be considered:

+ High school diploma or GED.

+ Completion of a recognized electrician apprenticeship program or equivalent technical training.

+ Valid Connecticut E-1 Unlimited Electrical Journeyperson License required.

+ Minimum of 3-5 years of electrical maintenance experience in a manufacturing, pharmaceutical, biotechnology, medical device, or other regulated industrial environment.

+ Strong knowledge of the National Electrical Code (NEC), NFPA 70E, and electrical safety standards.

+ Experience troubleshooting, maintaining, and repairing industrial electrical systems up to 480V.

+ Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings, schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals.

+ Experience performing preventive and corrective maintenance in a manufacturing environment.

+ Proficiency with electrical testing equipment, including multimeters, megohmmeters, and other diagnostic tools.

** Pay Details:**  $38.00 per hour
