Overview
Under general supervision, the Business Systems Analyst is responsible for the collection, analysis, and reporting of the operating technologies data for the purpose of performance improvement, strategic decision-making, trending, process analysis, cost reduction, and process automation.
Duties/Responsibilities- Supports leadership in analyzing data and financials provided by the Supply Chain and Consolidated Service Center (CSC) respective technology applications.
- Investigates areas for operating performance and financial improvements; gathers and analyzes data to identify specific business opportunities.
- Participates and contributes to various cross-functional teams designed to improve workflow within Supply Chain, CSC and other departments throughout the system for current and future projects in support of implementation.
- Produces recurring as well as ad-hoc reports as required by the CSC operating management and Supply Chain leadership.
- Coordinates with health system financial leadership to provide visibility/insight to general ledger accruals, order-to-cash customer transactions, and procure-to-pay vendor transactions.
- Tests business processes and recommends improvements. Assists with project management as directed.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
- Education:
Bachelor’s degree or experience in lieu of degree - Experience:
