We are seeking Field Materials Testing Technicians to join our team in Meridian, Idaho. This is a hands-on role for individuals with strong initiative who are ready to perform critical materials testing in the field to support high-quality infrastructure development. Whether you're experienced or looking to get started in this industry, we provide training and growth opportunities for committed team members.

Compensation: $18-20/hour depending on experience
Location:Meridian,
FLSA Exemption: Non-Exempt
Schedule: Working on Dispatch (Hours may vary)

What you'll be doing:

• Perform routine field testing of construction materials (e.g., soils, concrete, asphalt)

• Verify conformance to construction plans and specifications

• Accurately complete daily reports and datasheets

• Follow procedures and safety standards in all field activities

• Perform additional duties as assigned by supervisor

• Travel to job sites using company or personal vehicle

What you have:

• High school diploma or equivalent

• Valid driver's license (required)

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in outdoor conditions

• Ability to pass a drug screening

• Strong initiative and attention to detail

What will make you stand out:

• ACI, WAQTC certification in Soils, Concrete, or Asphalt

• Previous experience with field testing on construction projects

• Clear and accurate documentation skills

• Dependable and safety-conscious work habits

Preferred Certification(s):

• ACI - American Concrete Institute (Field, concrete, soils)

• WAQTC – Soils

• WAQTC – Concrete

• WAQTC – Asphalt
