Construction Field Technician

We are currently looking for the following position at our Meridian, .

Geo Tek is looking for field technicians to join our Meridian, e. We are hiring experienced technicians willing to perform field testing in the construction industry. Candidates must have a truck, van, SUV, or similar vehicle capable of carrying a wheelbarrow and other equipment for concrete sampling. The company pays for the use of your own vehicle and provides vehicle and gas reimbursements.

Compensation is based on certifications and experience level.

Performs a variety of testing, project-specific observations, and site assessment duties. Operates equipment, conducts tests/assessments, and reports data. Works from drawings, specifications, diagrams, schematics, and specific verbal and written instructions. Uses specific methods to observe site activities, take samples, and perform tests. Makes minor adjustments and modifications as needed.

• Effectively communicate with Supervisor and Dispatch to obtain daily work assignments.
• Prepare daily test and inspection reports.
• Competently perform all assigned tests and inspections.
• Prepare and submit company documents related to projects.
• Daily prepare and submit own time sheet for approval.
• Obtain proper field authorizations signed by the client when required or when work beyond the original scope is requested.
• Advise Supervisor or Project Manager of any changes in work scope or potential budget overruns.
• Maintain positive business relationships with clients, contractors, subcontractors, and material suppliers.

WAQTC Certs

• Valid Driver's License.
• Ability to accomplish tasks under adverse weather and or site conditions.
• May be required to work in confined spaces and climb and work at above average heights.
• Good or corrected vision and manual dexterity.

$17—$22 USD
