Project Manager/Estimator

Idaho Materials & Construction, a CRH Company, is seeking an experienced Estimator/Project Manager. This position involves the preparation of quantity estimates using material, labor, and overhead costs and management of awarded projects. Key responsibilities include bidding and managing multiple jobs, estimating earthwork, demolition, and utility projects, monitoring project progress, managing profit/loss, and ensuring safety practices are followed.

Qualifications include a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field, five+ years of construction estimating experience, and proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Bid 2 Win, Trimble Business Center, Plan Swift, and ViewPoint. Key competencies include customer service, teamwork, judgment, planning/organizing, professionalism, interpersonal skills, safety and security, adaptability, attendance/punctuality, dependability, initiative, innovation, and quality.

Physical requirements include sitting, climbing, using hands to handle equipment, standing, walking, crawling, kneeling, bending, reaching, lifting up to 50 lbs, and specific vision abilities. The work environment includes exposure to wet/humid conditions, moving mechanical parts, outside weather conditions, and moderate to loud noise levels.
