ICC Special Inspector

Job Summary

We are currently looking for Special Inspectors at our Meridian Office. The role involves a variety of testing, observations, and site assessment duties, operating equipment, conducting tests, and reporting data based on drawings, specifications, and instructions.

• Communicate with Supervisor and Dispatch to receive daily work assignments.
• Prepare daily data reports of testing and inspections.
• Perform all assigned tests and inspections competently.
• Submit company documentation related to projects.
• Submit own timesheet daily for approval.
• Obtain and ensure field authorizations are signed by the client when required or when scope exceeds the original scope.
• Inform Supervisor/Project Manager of scope changes or potential budget overruns.
• Maintain positive business relationships with clients, contractors, subcontractors, and material suppliers.

• ICC (ICBO) certification in one or more of the following:
  Reinforced Concrete
  , Structural Masonry
  , Prestressed Concrete, Fireproofing, Residential Building, Commercial Building, Structural Steel & Bolting.
• WAQTC certification if applicable.
• ACI Field certification.
• Valid Driver’s License.
• Ability to work under adverse weather or site conditions.
• May be required to work in confined spaces and at heights above average.
• Good vision and manual dexterity.

Pay range: $22 - $35 per hour. Vehicle reimbursement and a full suite of benefits.
