The Commercial Lines Client Service Representative (CSR) delivers exceptional client service while managing and supporting clients and teammates. This role serves as a point of contact for clients, carriers, and internal teams — handling policy servicing and supporting new business and renewal activities.

How You Will Contribute
  • Support client inquiries, providing timely, professional, and high-quality service
  • Manage inbound and outbound phone call service requests
  • Manage day-to-day service requests including policy changes, policy renewals, certificates, , and assigned tasks
  • Support clients with billing questions, payment processing, and premium collection
  • Prepare, review, and process insurance documents
  • Maintain accurate client records in agency management systems, including updates, file documentation, and tracking open items
  • Ensure compliance with internal procedures and carrier requirements
  • Verify invoicing accuracy and assist with premium finance agreements and accounting-related items
  • Manage mid‑term policy changes and assist with renewal strategy and stewardship reviews
  • Identify opportunities for additional coverage to mitigate uninsured or underinsured exposures
Licenses & Certifications
  • Active Property & Casualty (P&C) license
Skills & Experience to be Successful
  • 1+ years of commercial lines account management
  • Strong customer service mindset with excellent communication skills
  • High attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and agency management systems
  • Ability to service within modern tech-centric agency management systems
  • Preferred Equivalent work experience or equivalent college degree
  • Experience in commercial insurance markets and carrier relationships
  • Experience supporting marketing, renewals, or new business placement
