Position Overview
The Regional Hub Coordinator (HC) is a key leader in advancing the Idaho STEM Ecosystem (EcosySTEM). The HC drives regional strategy, shapes cross‑sector collaboration, and leads initiatives that expand access to high‑quality STEM education and career‑connected learning.
As the lead STEM liaison in the region, the HC serves as strategist and convener, ensuring local efforts contribute meaningfully to a cohesive and results‑driven statewide organization. The HC reports directly to the EcosySTEM Program Director and collaborates with other Hub Coordinators, regional leadership committees, and state leadership to co‑design and implement statewide goals.
Position Qualifications- Three years in STEM education, community engagement, and workforce development
- Experience building and facilitating partnerships among organizations
- Designing, planning, and implementing programs, events, and initiatives
- Strong written and verbal communication with educators, policymakers, and industry professionals
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within virtual team environments
- Bachelor’s degree in education, public relations, or business; four additional years of experience may substitute for a bachelor’s degree
- Valid driver’s license and successful driver’s record check
- Ability and willingness to travel frequently within the region and occasionally statewide; attendance at a minimum of one national conference annually is expected
- Must reside within the region(s) coordinated
- Knowledge or experience with the STEM Learning Ecosystems Community of Practice and other national STEM networks
- Experience working with grant‑funded projects
- Proven leadership skills in managing regional initiatives and working groups
- More than five years of experience demonstrating leadership in STEM education, community engagement, and/or workforce development
- Deep knowledge of the regional STEM education and workforce landscape
